Jared is the worse jewelry store and the do not full-fill the orders as the promise. I order a Pandora Necklace and they promise to delivered before Christmas. They contacted me 4 days before Christmas apologizing and offering me a 10% discount on my next purchase. They didn't mention that I was going to get my refund back or not. I contacted Jared, they do not have the product available and now I have to wait 10 business days to get my refund. At this point I don't have my money to substitute that gift and I don't have the gift my wife before Christmas, like they promise in their advertisement I will. I am super furious with Jared, I will never ever purchase from. them, nor recommend them, not even to my worse enemy.

After placing an online order on 11/20, I received an email showing one of my items estimated ship date would be 11/25 & the other would be 12/4. On 11/30, I check tracking to see both of my items are showing the same estimated ship dates, but have a message of ‘preparing item from inventory’.On 12/8, after not receiving the packages or receiving any correspondence, I called Customer Service and was told that one item was on back order and it would ‘never ship’ and she would send the other order to inquiry and I would hear from them in 2-3 days. After hearing nothing, I called back to find out that it takes 2-3 weeks to hear back on inquiries and it appears that neither of my items are in stock. The rep flat out said that it would probably never be available and shipped and speaking to a Supervisor wouldn’t change anything. The only email correspondence from this company was the one immediately following the online purchase; stating estimated ship dates. So, since I can’t cancel the order, I’m to just continue to expect that at sometime in the future it ‘might’ become available and I’ll receive the charge to my credit card? This is ridiculous! I would not recommend doing business online with this company!

Went to Jared at Willow Grove location…

Went to Jared at Willow Grove location on Friday, May 7, 2021 before noon with my significant other to inquire about two items I saw online. After entering the premises a tall white male approached me and welcomed us in and ask if he could help us out. I said I was looking into a ring. When I said “ring”, he immediately looked over to an African American woman and repeated what I said. It was almost like watching a skit from a show. I started to explain to her that I saw a Pandora ring that Jared was selling for a discounted price online and wanted to see it in person before considering buying it. The African American rep stated, “Oh we don’t sell Pandora in store, only online.” At first I said, “Oh ok, that’s fine.” Then this is where she made me feel as if we didn’t belong there anymore and stated “There is a Pandora in the Willow Grove mall.” It wasn’t that she was redirecting me on where to go that was the problem, it was the way she said it, as if to say, we were wasting our time at there location and perhaps me and my partner were better suited elsewhere and Willow Grove mall was more our speed. If she had not been so inadequately presumptuous, she would have known that I was also there to see the Neil Lane collection of engagement rings for my son who is planning to propose to his girlfriend and would have easily have paid the $2,500 to $3,500 it would have cost to get it that very same day. Reps like her should be fired. Never judge a book by its cover, never. I went to another jeweler that treated me far better than this location and got the ring we were looking for without unnecessary judgmental eyes and demeanor. You see what a little kindness would do? It can cost you the cost of a ring.

I ignored some of the bad reviews about Jared thinking that some people just had bad luck with Jared. But my experience turned out to be the same...
I went to multiple Jared jewelers to search for a wedding band for my fiancé, and they always looked at me like I didn’t belong there, despite dressing up. Finally someone came to help me. After looking at a couple of rings, I wanted to think through the night of which ones I wanted to get. I got the business card from the jewelry specialist who helped me, who told me to call her when I finalized it and she would place the order for me. The next day I called her and she quoted how she had “trouble” hearing me so she would give me a callback, but she never did. Finally I got hold of an online specialist through Jared.com, who actually was very pleasant. However, I had so much trouble placing the order online, as it kept telling me that my order didn’t go through. I thought it was my bank placing a hold so I called them and increased my daily spending limit. They did that and my order finally went through. 4 dats later, I log into Jared.com to check my order status. And guess what? IT WAS CANCELLED. BUT THEY NEVER SENT ME ANY NOTIFICATION OR EMAIL, EVEN THOUGH THEY CLAIM THEY “SENT A CANCELLATION EMAIL THE DAY AFTER”. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, AS THEY ARE ALL LIARS!
Please take your money and spend it somewhere else. Save yourself stress and a headache trying to get something from Jared.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED - I will NEVER use Jared.com again. My experience was like many here. I have spent thousands of dollars in my local Jared store and always felt they were professional and the services was good. This year I ordered a valentines present for my wife - I ordered on the 8th of Feb because the site assured me it would arrive before the 14th. Expected delivery was the 11th. Each day I checked and the site said my order was preparing to be shipped. The 11th came and went and that status never changed. I reached out to Customer Service via Chat and while they were polite and professional they had less information than I did from the site - which was virtually nothing. I was told my case had been forwarded to someone named Joe in their ecommerce group to be investigated but that it would take u to 14 days before I would get an answer. I kept trying to get any information, Valentines Day came and went, the status never changed and then yesterday when I checked I found the order had been cancelled. No explanation, no email proactively informing me. Nothing. Just cancelled. The charge has fallen off my credit card, but I feel I was the victim of a bait and switch scam. Had I known that Jared was going to be completely incapable of filling my order in time I would have shopped elsewhere. Message to Ms. Virginia Drossos - you need to fix this part of your company!!! Your online service is beneath unacceptable! This kind of incompetence might have been ok 20 years ago at the beginning of the dotcom age, but now no major corporation can continue with this abject level of service! - Just look at the reviews on this site alone! - And there are dozens of other sites with hundreds of complaints. A 6 billion dollar corporation can't continue to be this bad. I sincerely hope someone at your company is taking this seriously. Until then you have one fewer loyal customers.

"We went to Jared's"....

Jared's is a special place for us. They are friendly yet very professional. This was our second purchase. First was exactly 1 year ago for a solitaire diamond. At that time we both liked the Enhancer to compliment the ring. He promised it would be given at a special time! We very happy with our purchases. I wanted to post a picture but never was offered an opportunity.

Received my order today

Received my order today. From one of the Pandora earrings (bangle tiara wishbone) the back part is missing. I do not want to return them. I contacted customer service chat. Apparently the only choice i have is to return them.

I ordered two Pandora charms for my Mother in which a package was delivered however when I opened it the next day there was only one charm. I was furious because not only did they the payment for both items out of my account it after speaking to two different representatives I was first told that they would have to investigate looking at the cameras from the point of origin. So today I spoke to the second representative who tells me it could take from two to three weeks. This is supposed to be a prominent business which I also found out is E-Commerce go figure

Holding the credit by your order forever

Please check the other reviews before confirming any order with them. My situation is same as the other people putting comments here. After one hour of the order, you will never have a chance to cancel it until it could be delivered. However, they will need to ship it before any delivery. And here is the joke, when are they going to ship the product? after that one hour, you would see the credit reduction until your card expires I guess.

I took my size 5 diamond ring to Jared…

I took my size 5 diamond ring to Jared at Perimeter in Atlanta due to the band breaking to have them repair it. When I got it back the next day, it was sized a .25 up and didn't fit. They resized it and I got it back the next day. So, that was ok. The agent I dealt with was kind and personable. No real complaints. BUT, when I returned to pick up my ring, the agent, who knew I was in the market for a LeVian chocolate diamond ring, showed me a beautiful LeVian choc/diamond ring that was half off. He offered another 30% off and I couldn't refuse. He had it sized for me and I picked it up the next day on a Friday. When I got it home, I noticed that the choc diamond was more gray than brown and I remembered that I had not been offered a Certificate of Authentication for the piece. On Monday, I called Jared and asked them for my Certificate of Authentication and was told that Jared does not offer them. What? I pushed for it and was eventually emailed pictures that my agent had taken from the Jared computer screen from his iPhone that showed the description. I looked closely at the images he sent me and discovered that the choc diamond was actually a gray spinel. I was upset to say the least. I called my Jared agent back and he offered to take it back. I did so and got a full refund. THEN - I went across the street to the mall and went to Macy's. They had a sale on a beautiful LeVian chocolate and white diamond ring and I bought it. The agent at Macy's immediately had me complete a LeVian form (in triplicate) with my name and address. The Macy's agent completed a portion of the form with all of my ring's information. Macy's is forwarding the form to LeVian who will, inturn, forward my official Certificate of Authentication to my home within 2 to 3 months. So, my question is, if Macy's has this form from LeVian Corporate for the customers to complete upon purchase of one of their pieces in order to get their Certificate of Authentication, why doesn't a huge company like Jared do this?
I have to add here, when I returned the gray spinel to Jared, my agent actually told me that he didn't know it was not a chocolate diamond. My bad for not educating myself on the different shades of chocolate diamonds. Jared's bad on so many levels. Shame on you, Jared. I'll never go back.

Watch Out for Jerod

A couple of years ago, or so, at my local Jerod Jewelry Store, I bought a lifetime contract for battery replacement on my watch. Although the contract was not cheap, it was a good watch and I figured I’d get my money back in the long run. And easy - battery runs out, I take it to the store, they change the battery, and I’m out of there with my watch purring. At least that’s what happened the first couple of times.
Last week I take the watch in for a new battery, and they tell me they can no longer do that in store, even though the old battery changing station is in plain sight. But no - now they have to send it out of the store and the turn around time is six to eight weeks. SIX TO EIGHT WEEKS WITHOUT MY WATCH!! I’m a stubborn kind of guy, so I told them to take my watch and replace the battery, although it was clear they were trying to get out of their agreement. Went out into the parking lot steaming, and before I left, I had ordered a nifty new watch on Amazon which would be delivered to my door in three days.
So now I own two watches - and Jerod will continue to change batteries on the one as long as I live. I think that was a pretty slimy way to try to get out of an agreement, and except for claiming my free batteries for life, I wouldn’t do business with Jerod again on a bet!
